BALTIMORE, MD (March 31, 2026) – Tide Cleaners franchise owners Christy and Curt Schwab have selected Park Plaza in Severna Park for the concept’s fourth location in the greater Baltimore metropolitan region, with all four sites located in Anne Arundel County. The husband-and-wife entrepreneurial team signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) at the nearly 185,000 square foot shopping center located at 550 Ritchie Highway, with intentions to become operational this summer. CRC Senior Leasing Associate, Retail Leasing Paul Weinberg and Leasing Associate, Retail Leasing Roseanne Holmes represented the landlord and John Rosso of Rosso Commercial represented the tenant in this transaction.

Tide Cleaners offers “in by 9, out by 5” same-day turnaround for the dry cleaning and utilizes GreenEarth® cleaning solvent, an odorless and colorless solution that is environmentally-friendly. The concept, which currently operates more than 400 locations nationally, employs a seven-point inspection process and offers drive-through, drop-off, pick-up, and delivery options for its customers. This includes an automated kiosk system which facilitates the drop-off and pick-up on a 24/7 basis, 365 days a year.
According to Curt Schwab, the couple intends to open seven Tide Cleaners locations in Anne Arundel County to leverage the existing cleaning plant operation in Edgewater. He adds that the brand is only company that can use Tide detergent and Downey fabric softener in the cleaning process.
