COSTA MESA, CA (October 15, 2026) – The Bouqs Company, a leading direct-to-consumer flower brand which operates locations and delivery services nationally, has selected South Coast Collection (SOCO) for its entry into the Orange County area. The brand signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), and recently opened within The OC Mix, the culinary and retail collective component of the 292,000 square foot luxury home furnishings and design center in Costa Mesa. Jillian Sabaugh, U.S. Retail and CRC Senior Leasing Manager Melissa Sweeney represented the landlord in this transaction.
“The Bouqs gives customers the opportunity to experience a nationally recognized floral brand in person,” said Kristina O’Keefe, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations at Continental Realty Corporation. “Its fresh floral offering is a perfect complement to the dining, design and specialty concepts already found at The OC Mix. Bringing The Bouqs to SOCO adds another distinctive use to the property and reflects our continued focus on building a tenant mix that serves both the surrounding community and the businesses located here.”
The Bouqs operates other stores in Beverly Hills, New York City, San Diego, and San Francisco, and offers local same-day delivery services to those markets, as well as Chicago, Dallas, and Miami According to Kelly Connelly, Vice President of Retail for The Bouqs, the brand offers an array of arrangements and bouquets using responsibly sourced flowers from farms with practices such as recycling water and minimizing waste.
“We eliminated the middleman so our flowers are fresher and last longer. We also created a subscription service that lets customers gift or receive farm-fresh flowers at their preferred delivery cadence,” she explained. “The Bouqs utilizes an omnichannel approach and relies heavily on robust brick-and-mortar locations to drive customer awareness and engagement, build loyalty, and demonstrate the modern design and creativity of our products. When surveying retail locations for our Orange County expansion, we concluded that the mix of home design and furnishings tenants and strong restaurant tenants at SOCO perfectly complemented our brand and the customers where we already see strong demand.”
Located at 3303-3323 Hyland Avenue in Orange County, and with frontage on the San Diego Freeway (Interstate 405), SOCO includes home furnishings and design concepts such as Ann Sacks, Brown Jordan, King Living, Joybird, Design Within Reach, Rejuvenation, and Room & Board. Dining options are highlighted by Arc Food and Libations, Butcher’s House, Moulin, Il Girasole, Palms N’ Patties and Portola Coffee.
The OC Mix is a nearly 15,000-square-foot curated culinary and retail destination featuring elevated chef-driven dining experiences, specialty coffee, fast-casual culinary offerings, and unique retailers including an artisan cheese purveyor and a gourmet ice cream shop.
