Team-Based Action Game Experience Prison Island Selects 111 Broadway For Entry Into Nashville, Tennessee Marketplace
BALTIMORE, MD (October 29, 2026) – Prison Island, a team-based action game experience which operates nearly 120 facilities in 26 countries, has selected 111 Broadway for the interactive concept’s entry into the Nashville, Tennessee area. The Sweden-based group signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) for 14,500 square feet of space at 111 Broadway, a 50,303 square foot mixed-use property anchored by Whiskey River Saloon, and owned and managed by Continental Realty Corporation. Kelsi Bozel Holman, Assistant Vice President, Retail Leasing for CRC, together with Lizzie LeBleu and Joe Wolf of Ojas Partners represented the landlord, and Harrison Pollak of Ojas Partners represented the tenant.
“Prison Island gives residents and visitors another reason to make 111 Broadway part of their time in downtown Nashville,” said Kristina O’Keefe, CRC’s Senior Vice President, Retail Operations. “The experience puts people at the center of the action, working together, testing their skills and competing for points. It adds a new dimension to the property’s entertainment mix while giving families, friends and colleagues a place to connect. Bringing in distinctive tenants that serve the community and encourage return visits is central to how we support the long-term success of our properties.”
Prison Island opened its first U.S. venue in Indianapolis this summer. Its Dallas location is in the final stages of construction and is expected to open this year, followed by a planned Nashville opening in summer 2027.
The experience combines physical, mental, and skill-based challenges, in which teams of two to five players have 90 to 120 minutes to move freely between 45 themed “cells” and complete tasks to score points on a live leaderboard. Participants take part in experiences based on real historical penal colonies such as Alcatraz or Chaguu Island, and the highly social experience is suited for friends, families, and corporate groups.
“Nashville is one of the country’s most vibrant destinations for live entertainment, tourism, and group gatherings, which makes it a natural fit for Prison Island,” explained Yan Rigoulot, Head of Operations, for Prison Island. “The city draws a steady mix of locals, visitors, and large groups looking for social experiences, and 111 Broadway gives us the central, high-traffic downtown location we wanted, along with the space to bring all 45 cells to life in a way that feels immersive and distinctive.”
Constructed in 1930 and positioned on the Lower Broadway corridor of downtown Nashville just one block from the Cumberland River, the three-story asset has been extensively renovated over the past five years including improvements to the roof, windows, exterior and elevator systems.
111 Broadway overlooks the Cumberland River and has direct access to the pedestrian bridge that leads to Nissan Stadium, the Music City Grand Prix and other attractions. Additional companies and institutions with a presence in Nashville include AllianceBernstein, Oracle and Vanderbilt University. The site is approximately nine miles from Nashville International Airport.
Nearly 250,000 people reside within a five-mile radius of 111 Broadway, including approximately 100,000 households.
