CRC to Hold Grand Reopening for Padonia Village Shopping Center on November 13th
CRC will host a Grand Reopening Ceremony for Padonia Village Shopping Center, a newly-renovated neighborhood retail center that the company owns and manages. Baltimore County Executive, John Olszewski, Jr. and Baltimore County Councilman Wade Kach (3rd District) are among the local dignitaries and business people expected to participate. Located at 61 E. Padonia Road in the Timonium section of Baltimore County, the Padonia Village Shopping Center Grand Reopening begins at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 13th.
Over the past year, CRC has attracted a number of new retailers to Padonia Village, including anchor tenant Green Valley Marketplace, which opened its first Baltimore County grocery store at the center last November. Green Valley Marketplace has been joined by several fast-casual and sit-down restaurants, as well as a dental office. In addition, GBMC Healthcare has announced plans to debut its Advanced Primary Care concept within the space formerly occupied by Padonia Ale House. Featuring multiple physician practice groups, the healthcare facility will provide primary and urgent care for the entire family, from newborns to seniors.
CRC recently completed a significant property improvement package at Padonia Village, a center that comprises nearly 115,000 square feet. The renovations featured the replacement of all exterior siding, a center-wide repainting, the installation of new lighting, and the creation of a reimagined courtyard area that will function as the aesthetic focal point of the center, as well as a community gathering place.
“The exciting new tenants and our investment in physical upgrades demonstrate, I hope, our intent to elevate the shopping center experience at Padonia Village. The needs of local consumers and business people have evolved since the center was first built,” stated David Donato, Senior Vice President of CRC. “Neighborhood shopping centers play more vital roles within communities than ever. They’re not only places to shop, but also places to be entertained, to engage with neighbors, and to earn a living. CRC embraces our responsibility to maintain this multifaceted environment. Our team works hard daily to make positive changes to the Padonia Village community.”
Padonia Village features roadside visibility from York Road and is located one-half mile from the Padonia Road exit of Interstate 83. The shopping center features more than 20 tenants, including CuVino restaurant, Rite Aid, Cake by Jason, and Bank of America. Nearly 42,000 vehicles pass the site daily. Within a three-mile radius, approximately 60,000 people reside in more than 25,000 households, with average household income exceeding $100,000.
