BALTIMORE, MD (March 11, 2026) – KidStrong franchise owners Jordan and Shaun Wade have selected The Shoppes at Webb Gin in Snellville, Georgia as the site for their first of two locations in Gwinnett County. The husband-and-wife team combine extensive athletic backgrounds with a passion for establishing a child-focused training center that instills confidence, builds character, and teaches socialization skills. The couple signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) for 4,419 square feet of space at the 330,000 square foot lifestyle center located at 1350 Scenic Highway South, and expect to open this summer. CRC Senior Leasing Associate Monica Johnson and Kelsi Holman represented the landlord and Christina Dobbins of Morrow Hill represented the tenant in this lease transaction.
“KidStrong offers a specialized training program designed to help children build strength, confidence, and life skills,” said Kristina O’Keefe, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations at Continental Realty Corporation. “The addition of KidStrong to The Shoppes at Webb Gin introduces a valuable resource for families in the community who are looking for programs that support both physical development and personal growth for their children. The concept is a natural fit for the center’s tenant mix and reinforces our focus on delivering services that meet the everyday needs of the surrounding community.”
KidStrong follows a Whole Child Philosophy with programming focused on brain, character, and physical development and targeting children aged 0 through 11. Each class consists of approximately 18 youngsters, with a parent or guardian participating on the floor in the 45-minute lessons in classes for 4 and under, and observing from the sidelines for the age 5-11 classes. Age-specific programming focuses on brain, character, and physical development, with an emphasis on problem-solving and emotional regulation, increasing physical strength, general athleticism and helping kids gain more confidence and mental toughness. Activities cover a wide spectrum, spanning from fundamental skills like shaking hands and public speaking, to more physically demanding tasks such as tire flipping and agility courses. The curriculum was generated by child development specialists including pediatricians, and physical and occupational therapists.
Jordan Wade performed as a heptathlete at the University of South Carolina and represented Team USA in the U18 championships. After playing football at The Ohio State University, Shaun Wade recently completed his fifth season in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears. The parents of a three-year-old son, they were looking for a concept that would instill principles including leadership and coachability.
“We enrolled our son in the local KidStrong program, immediately fell in love with it and, when the opportunity arose to invest in a franchise, jumped at the chance because the concept aligns with our family values of making a positive impact in the local community,” said Jordan Wade. “The Shoppes at Webb Gin emerged as the ideal location given the existing family-oriented retailers, the extremely high foot traffic, and the proximity to schools and dense residential neighborhoods.”
The Shoppes at Webb Gin is situated on approximately 48 acres on Scenic Highway South, the major freeway which connects Snellville to Lawrenceville, with more than 40,000 vehicles passing the site daily. The regional center is home to more than 60 tenants, including national retailers Sprouts Farmers Market, DSW, Sephora, Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, H&M, Chico’s, Kay Jewelers, Loft, Victoria’s Secret and White House Black Market. Sit-down and fast-casual restaurants located at The Shoppes at Webb Gin include Bonefish Grill, Chili’s Grill & Bar, Longhorn Steakhouse, The Diner, and Ted’s Montana Grill.
More than 68,000 people reside within a three-mile radius of The Shoppes at Webb Gin, with average household incomes approaching $110,000. Since 2010, the market trade area has achieved nine percent population growth, and an additional seven percent population growth is expected over the next five years.
