CRC Selects Karen Montano As Human Resources Coordinator

Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, has announced the selection of Karen Montano as Human Resources Coordinator. She was formerly a Human Resources Assistant at JANUS et Cie in Los Angeles.

In her position with CRC, Ms. Montano will support all aspects of the Human Resources department, with a focus on payroll, benefits and recruiting functions. She will also leverage her proficiency with the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) software platform and assist with day-to-day administration tasks, health and safety assignments, as well as event planning.

“Karen brings a diverse background in human resources to CRC and we believe her experience and knowledge of recruiting and employee appreciation programming will provide the perfect complement to our seasoned team of professionals,” explained Crystal Frey, Senior Vice President, Human Resources for CRC. “She will support the entire employment cycle by assisting with pre-hire and onboarding activities, serving as a resource for team members on pay and benefit questions, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects.

Ms. Montano earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University-Los Angeles with a focus in Human Resource Management. She is a member of the Professionals in Human Resources Association.
