Ari Abramson

Vice President, Acquisitions

Joined 2016

As the Vice President of Acquisitions, Ari leads CRC’s multifamily acquisitions team through the sourcing, evaluating, and closing of acquisitions throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the US. Currently, Ari is investing on behalf of the Core Multifamily Fund, LP, an open-ended fund, and Fund V, a value-add closed-ended fund. Prior to joining CRC, Ari worked at Alex Brown Realty as an Acquisitions Officer with a focus on joint venture investments throughout the Southeast. In addition, Ari held investment banking and real estate development positions for Stifel Nicolaus, Townsend Capital, and Legg Mason.

Way of Life

An essential part of Ari’s job is connecting with people across our industry to better understand who is doing what and how CRC could add value. To do that, Ari is a frequent speaker at multifamily industry conferences and has spoken on panels hosted by Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), NAREIM (National Association of Real Estate Investment Mangers), NAA (National Apartment Association), MMHA (Maryland Multifamily Housing Association), IMN (Information Management Network), and Bisnow.

Ari has competed in and moderated the annual “Young Guns” pitch competition at the NMHC Annual Meetings. He has also moderated webinars for NMHC and RETCON. Ari has authored articles published in the Southeast Real Estate Business Journal and Multifamily Housing News and been featured in the Commercial Observer, NAIOP’s InSites Magazine, and the Baltimore Business Journal.
