CRC Promotes Lauren Wayne to Vice President of Accounting and Member of Executive Committee
CRC has announced the promotion of Lauren Wayne to Vice President of Accounting. Formerly Controller for Fund Investments, Ms. Wayne has worked with the company since 2010. In this new role, she will also join the CRC Executive Committee.
In her new position, Ms. Wayne will manage the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function, while also overseeing the investor relations department and directing third-party equity fund investment accounting and reporting. CRC’s three private equity funds own and manage a diversified real estate portfolio of value-add multifamily apartment communities and retail properties, located throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States.
“Throughout her tenure with the company, Lauren has significantly elevated the quality and performance of several accounting and reporting processes that employees, stakeholders, and investors depend on for accurate and timely information,” stated J.M. Previous to CRC, Ms. Wayne worked as a Controller for Sterling Partners, a private equity investment company as well as with PwC. She earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland at College Park and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland with more than 15 years of experience in this industry sector.
