CRC Holds Leasing Games Competition for Professional Development and Team Building
Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a full-service commercial real estate investment and property management company, held its third annual “Leasing Games” competition, an off-site event designed for professional development and team building purposes. The competitive event involved the company’s leasing professionals and assistant property managers that work at Continental Realty’s apartment communities throughout the Maryland and Northern Virginia region.
Employees were placed within teams and competed in five different competitive exercises that include telephone performance analysis; residential management; follow-up telephone calls; product demonstration and a booth utilizing the game Taboo as a fun way to help team members focus on enhancing their communication skills. Participants competed in these venues by demonstrating the critical sales skills necessary to successfully run a multi-million dollar property. An awards dinner followed the competition.
“Our annual Leasing Games event is an innovative way to achieve our goals of professional development and reinforcing sales strategies in a fun setting,” stated Anne Angel, Vice President, Residential Division of Continental Realty Corporation. “The basis of property management is sales. Sales drive the leasing efforts which drive the properties’ success. The leasing games event always gets everyone’s competitive juices flowing and brings out the creativity and drive in our team members. One of our core values is to build the best team and leasing games assist us in meeting that goal.”
