The Facebar Aesthetic Medicine Selects Arnold Station For Second Location In Anne Arundel County Submarket

Arnold Station

BALTIMORE, MD (September 15, 2025) – The Facebar Aesthetic Medicine, an aesthetics and wellness practice, has chosen Arnold Station for its second location in the Anne Arundel County marketplace, joining its existing facility which opened in Pasadena in 2019. Co-owners and sisters-in-law Arlette Cross and Pamela Faraci signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation and expect to open at the 60,165-square-foot shopping center located at 1450 Ritchie Highway in Arnold, Maryland this fall.

The Facebar provides a range of anti-aging, wellness, and weight-loss services designed to rejuvenate skin, enhance natural beauty, and build confidence. Core offerings include injectables such as Botox, dermal fillers, PDO threads, bio-stimulators, and PRFM, as well as medical weight loss, Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), and peptide therapy.

After working as an emergency room nurse for more than 20 years, Arlette Cross worried that her career would be curtailed due to workplace stress and sought a new path. She partnered with her sister-in-law, Pamela Faraci, who was then operating a local hair salon. Recognizing the growth of the aesthetics and wellness industry and seeing that Anne Arundel County was underserved in this space, they combined their instincts, experience, and passion to launch The Facebar.

“Our first location opened with four treatment rooms and, almost immediately, we became overwhelmed by the customer response,” stated Faraci. “We knew the concept would be successful, but could not have predicted how quickly The Facebar was embraced and how much our customers appreciated the range of services.”

She added that the rise of video conferencing, where faces are often magnified on screen, helped accelerate the popularity of aesthetics. “People are more focused on self-care, and the aesthetics industry has become mainstream—no longer a taboo subject,” Cross said.

“Until recently, surgical procedures were the only option for people interested in making a dramatic improvement to their appearance, and that choice was costly and intimidating,” Cross explained. “The industry has advanced significantly with the development of injectables, hormone replacement therapy, and other non-surgical treatments. We have seen a cultural shift where both men and women are motivated to look and feel their best, particularly in today’s social media-driven world.”

“Arnold Station quickly emerged as our preferred location because we wanted a center that is easily accessible to patients traveling from Annapolis and across the Bay Bridge, without competing with our Pasadena location,” Faraci added. “The highway visibility from Ritchie Highway – one of the most heavily traveled roads in Anne Arundel County – the complementary tenant mix, and the low level of competition in the immediate area made it an ideal choice. It also allows us to conveniently serve patients from Annapolis, Edgewater, and Cape St. Clair.”

Positioned at the intersection of MD Route 2 (Governor Ritchie Highway) and Arnold Road, Arnold Station is a two-story development featuring restaurants, retailers, and office tenants, including Leslie’s Pool Supplies Service & Repair, Arundel Pediatrics, Bella Italia, McDonald’s, and Pivot Physical Therapy. The center offers a free surface parking lot with 185 spaces, serves nearly 125,000 residents within a five-mile radius, and sees close to 60,000 vehicles pass daily.

“The Facebar Aesthetic Medicine represents a compelling new addition to our tenant mix,” said Kristina O’Keefe, Vice President of the Commercial Division at Continental Realty Corporation. “Arlette and Pamela’s mission to expand their successful concept and bring an in-demand aesthetics and wellness practice to this section of Anne Arundel County supports our vision of creating a shopping center that truly serves the community.”

Headquartered in Baltimore and founded in 1960, Continental Realty Corporation is a full-service commercial real estate and investment company focused on acquiring and operating retail and multifamily properties. The privately held firm owns and manages a diversified portfolio of retail centers consisting of over eight million square feet of commercial space and more than 10,000 apartment homes across 14 states, with a portfolio valued at nearly $4.2 billion.
