Shane Raby Joins Continental Realty Corporation As Regional Portfolio Manager, Multifamily Division

BALTIMORE, MD (April 8, 2025) – Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company active in 13 states and with a portfolio value exceeding $4 billion, has announced the selection of Shane Raby as Regional Portfolio Manager, Multifamily Division. Raby, who brings nearly 10 years of directly-related multifamily, property management, and business experience to the company, was formerly Regional Property Manager, Middleburg Communities in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In his new role, Raby will manage daily operational activities for a portfolio of five multifamily communities in Charlotte, North Carolina and one asset in Greenville, South Carolina. His responsibilities include reviewing and improving performance metrics such as closing ratios and apartment turn times, conducting on-site assessments to enhance community aesthetics, devising and executing training and mentoring for team members, and leading on-site teams. Raby will also participate in corporate events and meetings related to on-site operations.

In addition to Middleburg Communities, Raby functioned as Regional Portfolio Manager for Pegasus Residential and Tribridge Management, Area Director for First Communities Management, and Property Manager for The Connor Group. Throughout his career in the multifamily sector, he has been recognized with numerous awards, including Property Manager of the Year, Corporate Professional of the Year and Instructor of the Year.

Raby has also been extremely involved, and held volunteer positions, for numerous non-profit organizations and multifamily-related associations, including Relay for Life, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Humane Society of Charlotte, Crisis Assistance Ministry, the National Apartment Association, the Greater Charlotte Apartments Association, and the Apartment Association of North Carolina.
