After graduating from Towson University in 2018, I spent a couple years in public accounting before I started working at CRC in November of 2020. Although I was onboarded during a difficult time in the world as we faced a global pandemic, CRC made my transition very smooth which allowed me to settle into my new role very quickly. One of the first things I noticed was the culture of the workplace. The employees at CRC are truly authentic and are always there to help each other, like a family. The managers do a great job managing the staff and setting them up for success. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and make certain you are learning and progressing in your role. This is a company that really cares about its employees, day in and day out, regardless of an individual’s position. At CRC, everyone is working toward a common goal and everyone is recognized and appreciated for their contributions. I love working at CRC!

I started working for CRC as an intern in the summer of 2018 while attending Towson University. The open atmosphere and culture that I experienced working at Padonia Village Apartments made me come back for a second internship. Once I graduated in Spring 2019, I decided to become part of the CRC family full time and I haven’t looked back since. At one of the many company events, I had briefly mentioned to the Corporate Marketing Director that I was interested in marketing and graphic design due to my degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Six months later, I applied and was promoted to the Marketing and Training Coordinator position and have since obtained my Graphic Design Certificate and been promoted to Corporate Marketing Specialist. I felt heard and appreciated. CRC embodies a family-like culture and provides opportunities for upward mobility, which is why I choose to continue calling CRC home.

Prior to working for Continental Realty, I worked for two other property management companies. I left property management in 2013 and decided to come back after having my daughter in November of 2019. I always knew the property management industry was something I wanted to get back into for my long-term career goals. The gratification I feel after helping a future resident find their new home, is an overwhelming feeling. I truly enjoy getting to know each potential and current resident. I want each one to feel important and know that someone cares about their wants and needs. I joined CRC in March of 2020. It had been a few years since I worked in the industry and much had changed. My first day with Continental was not your typical first day. I started when the onsite offices closed to the public due to Covid-19. Continental provided numerous tools and classes to help me re-learn the industry and gain knowledge in my position. The policies and procedures corporate put in place reassured me they truly cared about the safety and well-being of their team members. During my short time with Continental, I have felt the strong family dynamic within this company from day one and I have received numerous recognitions for my work ethic. Though I have not had an opportunity to meet other team members face-to-face, the bi-weekly BeCRC calls and Kahoot challenges give me the opportunity to interact with other team members from different sites. I have found myself stating numerous times Continental is an amazing company to work for and I am excited to experience new growth and learning opportunities within the company.

What makes CRC different than other places of employment is we are truly a team built on trust. In that spirit, I always strive in every interaction to empathize with our team members current needs and difficulties in mind. In the end we are all on the same side, and everyone wins when we can help each other succeed in our technology challenges. We are all better together.

Before coming to CRC, I worked for many years in Connecticut as a paralegal.  When my husband and I relocated to Florida I decided that it was time for a change even in my professional life.  I took a job working as an Admin for the Naples Office of the third-party company that handled the CRC properties in Southwest Florida. After Hurricane Irma hit in September 2017, there was an opening in the Property Management Department, and I jumped at the chance for the new experience.  I began working with Matt Baker and the CRC team as we recovered from the hurricane and moved forward to keep our properties and tenants on solid ground. It was exciting when our team was invited to come on board and officially became part of CRC when the Naples Office was opened in July 2019.  Working for CRC is one of the best things that has happened in my employment career.  The company offers competitive salary, great benefits, and great support to their team members. CRC makes you feel that you are valued as team member and as a person. I love that! In addition, I must say that during the pandemic when all the world has been in confusion and panic, the leadership of CRC has proven to be outstanding by keeping the company on solid ground and keeping the foundation firm so that our team has been able to move forward.  The ability to work remotely was a great accomplishment for the entire company no matter where we were located.  Zoom and Teams communications have been an instrumental part in allowing me personally to feel even closer to the corporate staff in a way that might not have happened otherwise.  I look forward to the continued growth of the company and especially to be part of that growth in our CRC South Office here in Naples, Florida.

I joined CRC Realty in February 2020 and couldn’t be happier with my decision! As I was searching for job openings in the Baltimore area, CRC quickly became my top choice. Their core values and mission statement aligned perfectly with an organization that I wanted to be a part of. Prior to working for CRC, I managed high rise office buildings in Northern Virginia and New York City for over seven years. Everyone at the company made my transition into retail management so smooth and easy. CRC is very family oriented and makes you feel so much more than just a number. Every team member has such a strong work ethic and is willing to help in any way that they can. It’s refreshing to see how upper management truly values each team member. I feel so fortunate that I am a member of the CRC team and am excited for the growth and opportunities within the company!

Working at CRC has been a very rewarding experience for me on many levels. I enjoy coming to work each day, working with my co-workers, and knowing that every day I will be presented with a different challenge. No two days are the same, and that is something that I love about my job. CRC has challenged me to learn many new things in real estate, get to know people and cities that I may not have ever come across, and taught me skills that are not only useful for the workplace but real life too. The team environment that we have not only within the Commercial Team but working with many other departments across the company is something that is unique and makes everything run smoothly. I enjoy getting to know the business by working with all the groups across many different fields and think that everyone working together like we do is what sets us apart. The people, culture, and environment that CRC has created over the past 60 years is one that embraces a healthy work life balance and makes the CRC community feel like family. When it came time for me to decide on a company, the reputation and values of CRC made the choice easy. I look forward to seeing how we will continue to grow in the years to come.

In October of 2000, I was given the opportunity to join CRC as a paralegal in the Legal Department. This was a time when lenders, borrowers, and their respective counsel would have in person closings in a large conference room with a ton of paper. Although I worked for attorneys representing the lenders, CRC was always one of those groups with whom I enjoyed working. Their professionalism, efficiency and humor were the reasons I left what I knew for 15 years and decided to join CRC when the position was offered to me. Fast forward to 2021, what can I say. It was the best decision I ever made for myself and my family. I have loved my job since day one and still do. I deal with corporate entity filings, financings, acquisitions, and sales. In my role, I interact with all the corporate departments. It keeps things interesting and I am always learning. The company strategies and environment are forever evolving to make a better workplace for all of us. Even during a worldwide pandemic, CRC was able to quickly adapt to a remote work environment to ensure the safety and continuity of all employees. As we all know, many are not as fortunate as the CRC family. CRC’s ability to improvise, adapt and overcome is nothing short of inspiring. I believe remote working is a game changer for future growth, technology growth and availability of talent. Despite today’s environment, I am excited about CRC’s future. Jack, Mark, and JM give their all to ensure individual and company success and I will continue to give my all to do the same.

Before CRC, I was in the banking and hospitality world. At one point in my life, I thought I had it all figured out, I WANT TO RUN A HOTEL! Well, soon enough I realized that wasn’t my real passion, although I was great at what I did. Moving forward, I began to understand my worth and what kind of company I would love to grow with. I originally applied for Doncaster Village and got a call that the position was filled internally. Would you believe I got another call back to offer me a position at Kenilworth At Charles Apartments! I was so excited I immediately put in my two-week notice at work. Funny thing is, I only got the job because someone was promoted. The retention rate here at CRC goes without saying, and I am truly happy to be here. During my time here, I’ve received lots of recognition and it feels great to know that my hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. CRC cares about its team members and provides so many different pieces of training and advice to help everyone grow. I love that promotions are from within the company, and CRC will make sure you’re in great standing to fulfill any new position that is offered to you. My goal is to continue to blossom with CRC and excel in my career.
