Position Description:

The role of a Leasing Professional is 1/3 sales, 1/3 customer service, and 1/3 office administrator. You have to sell your community by listening and adapting to the needs of your customers. You’re the ambassador for your community and Continental Realty. A Typical Day:

  • Get your office ready: Open up your software programs, check voicemail and email, make sure refreshments are available.
  • Prepare for touring the community: Print apartment availability report, inspect any vacant units and make sure leasing materials are ready.
  • Check appointment calendar and scheduled move-ins, get lease files ready.
  • Make sure all sales leads are followed up on, post ads to websites and other marketing channels, i.e. Social Media.
  • Follow up on lease renewals for current residents, enter maintenance requests in the system.
  • Answer phones and emails, greet any guests coming in throughout the day and take tours of the community.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of customer service and sales experience is required. 
  • College degree or some college preferred – but not required.
  • Microsoft Office, basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work some weekends (rotation, mainly every other Saturday, still 40 hours per week).
  • Candidate must have their own vehicle.
